John Patton That Certain Feeling 1968
Good play copy of this underrated groover from organist John Patton. This LP has never been reissued on its own on CD, though it is available in a bigger box set and is one of Patton's finest efforts. Featuring a stellar band including the great funky guitarist Jimmy Ponder and Sun Ra drummer Clifford Jarvis, this LP features Patton's terrific soul jazz compositions. LP is VG with some surface marks. It should be noted that this LP has a pressing flaw on Early A.M. (all copies of this record we have encountered have the same flaw). Cover is VG+ with an old price sticker on front and tiny writing on back. Highly recommended to lovers of organ soul grooves.
